Ooj-wal.
“Huge wall” without the h.
Photography first. Then video, when the photos had to move. Then animation, design and web, because the work needed somewhere to live. Then Meta ads and automation, because it needed to reach people and keep running without me.

Each one because a project needed it.
None of them because I was collecting.
So you get one person who can shoot it, cut it, design it, build it, and automate the boring part after.

Freelance
Photographer, Videographer & Designer
Melbourne
— Run projects end to end — concept conversation through to final delivery — for brands and individuals.
— Full visual stack in one set of hands: stills, video, motion, colour, sound, layout. Fewer handoffs, less drift between idea and final.
— Built and shipped client websites across platforms, with handovers clean enough that clients run them alone.
— Designed and built a pipeline automation system for a client — backend work that quietly does the admin.
— Run Meta ad campaigns alongside the creative, so the content is built with the audience in mind from day one.

Smash Products
In-house Photographer & Videographer
Melbourne
— Brand, product and lifestyle photography across the full content cycle — concept, shoot, edit, deliver.
— End-to-end video production, from setup on the day to final cut.
— Built the systems that move work from brief to delivery, so the team spends time creating rather than chasing files.

Picos Media
Photographer, Videographer & Designer
Melbourne
— Produced photo and video content for 50+ campaigns.
— Shot and retouched studio product imagery, keeping a consistent look across long-running campaigns.
— Worked with the creative team on concepts, shot lists, and getting things out the door on tight turnarounds.

— Designed for in-house content and client campaigns — early lessons in what makes a brand feel coherent rather than just well-decorated.
— Where I learned to take a brief seriously, hit a brand spec exactly, and ship clean work on a deadline.
Hello, I'm Ujjwal
A creative based in Melbourne
I work across photography, video, design, and automation — often on the same project. The fun part for me is the whole thing: the shoot, the edit, and the quiet system running behind it that makes everything actually work.
I like thinking about jobs on two levels — the big picture of what we're trying to do, and the small details that get us there. Usually somewhere in the middle is a smarter, simpler way to do it, and finding that is half the joy.
Mostly I just love working with people who like to experiment, bounce ideas around, and figure things out together. I thrive on collaboration, working with clients who value bold creativity, authenticity, and results-driven creatives.
The first thing people ask is how to say my name.
Ooj-wul. “Huge wall” without the h.
I started in photography. A client needed the photos to move, so I learned video. The video needed titles, so I learned animation. Then design, then web, then automation. Each one because a project needed it. None of them because I was collecting.
So you get one person who can shoot it, cut it, design it, build it, and automate the boring part after.
A little unusual. Very Unujjwal.
